About Pugazhi Natural Products…

Our ancestors followed the culture ‘food as medicine’. We have slipped a bit… but when we decided to get back to our traditional practices we had to wander through many places in the city of Chennai to buy natural food items. Since we did not get the Natural food items as we expected, since 2008, we have been buying and using naturally prepared food items from our native village of Pugalur near Erode from our local farmers and relatives for our own consumption. We are committed to providing our children with unadulterated foods.

Following this Natural diet made us feel energized and active. Therefore, we informed our friends and acquaintances about these organic foods in 2013 with the aim of making this benefit not limited to us but reaching out to many. Over time, we started selling the Natural food items from our home. At the same time we started offering personalised advice on what kind of food items to take according to each person’s issues (health conditions / requirements) so that they can be very healthy. We have been operating in Saidapet since 2015 under the name “Pugali Organic Store”. From the very beginning we have been working only for the benefit of our customers.

All the products sold in our shop are bought and sold directly from the farmers. All the farmers associated with us follow organic farming based on the guidance of the esteemed Nammazhvar, who was one of the foremost natural scientists in Tamil Nadu. About 100 to 150 farmers from all over Tamil Nadu are directly associated with us.

Our ‘Pugazhi Natural Products’ operates with the responsibility / duty to reach out the organic food products procured from organic farmers, directly to the people.

Through our ‘Pugazhi Natural Products’, we sell traditional rice, millets, cold pressed oils, milk, cow ghee, eggs, ebony eggs, foxtail millet, snacks, dried fruits and herbal products.

Worldwide, our customers are in the US, London, Australia, Canada, Japan, Sri Lanka, Singapore and Malaysia. We also cater to people across Tamil Nadu. They buy our organic food items by post and use them.

We have never compromised on any of our standards for any purpose. Our basic goal is to facilitate access to unadulterated food for everyone.

புகழி இயற்கை அங்காடியைப் பற்றி…

உணவே மருந்து என்ற பண்பாட்டின்படி வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருந்திருந்தவர்கள் நாம் இடையில் சிறுதடு மாற்றம் கண்டுள்ளோம் அதிலிருந்து மீண்டு வர இயற்கை உணவுப் பொருள்களை வாங்கு வதற்கு சென்னை மாநகரில் பல இடங்களை தேடி அலைய வேண்டியதாக இருந்தது. நாங்கள் எதிர்பார்த்த இயற்கை உணவுப் பொருள் சென்னையில் கிடைக்காததால் 2008 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் எங்கள் குடும்பத்தின் சொந்த பயன்பாட்டிற்காக ஈரோடு அருகே உள்ள எங்களுடைய பூர்வீக கிராமமான புகழூரில் இருந்து இயற்கை முறையில் தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட உணவுப் பொருள்களை அங்கே உள்ள விவசாயிகளிடமிருந்தும், உறவினர்களிடமிருந்தும் வாங்கி வந்து பயன்படுத்தினோம். எங்களுடைய குழந்தைகளுக்கு எந்த விதமான கலப்படமும் அற்ற உணவுப் பொருள்களை வழங்க வேண்டும் என உறுதி ஏற்று இருக்கிறோம்.

இந்த இயற்கை உணவு முறையை பின்பற்றுவதால் நல்ல ஆரோக்கியத்துடன் உற்சாகமாக செயல்படுவதை உணர்ந்தோம். எனவே, இந்த பலன் நம்மோடு நின்று விடகூடாது பலரையும் சென்றடைய வேண்டும் என்ற நோக்கத்தில் 2013 ஆம் ஆண்டில் இந்த இயற்கை உணவுப் பொருள்களை பற்றி நண்பர்களுக்கும், எங்களுடன் தொடர்பில் இருந்தவர்களுக்கும் தெரியப்படுத்தினோம். நாளடைவில் அவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் இயற்கை உணவு பொருள்களை எங்கள் இல்லத்தில் இருந்தே விற்பனை செய்ய ஆரம்பித்தோம். அதே நேரத்தில் ஒவ்வொருவருடைய சிக்கல்களுக்கு ஏற்ப எந்த மாதிரியான உணவு பொருள்களை எடுத்துக் கொண்டால் அவர்கள் மிகுந்த நலத்துடன் இருக்க முடியும் என்பதற்கான ஆலோசனையையும் வழங்குகிறோம்.

2015 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் சைதாப்பேட்டையில் “புகழி இயற்கை அங்காடி” என்ற பெயரில் சிறப்பாக இயங்கிவருகிறோம். ஆரம்பகாலம் முதலே எங்களுடைய வாடிக்கையாளர்களின் நன்மையை மட்டுமே கருத்தில் கொண்டு செயல்பட்டு வருகிறோம்.

எங்கள் கடையில் விற்பனை செய்யப்படும் அனைத்துப் பொருள்களும் நேரடியாக விவசாயிகளிடமிருந்து கொள்முதல் செய்யப்பட்டு விற்பனை செய்யப்படுகிறது. எங்களது தொடர்பில் உள்ள விவசாயிகள் அனைவருமே தமிழ்நாட்டின் முதன்மை இயற்கை அறிவியலாளர்களில் முதன்மையானவராக இருந்த மதிப்பிற்குரிய நம்மாழ்வார் அவர்களின் வழியில் விவசாயம் செய்பவர்கள். தமிழ்நாடு முழுவதிலும் இருந்து ஏறக்குறைய 100 முதல் 150 விவசாயிகள் எங்களுடன் நேரடித் தொடர்பில் உள்ளனர்.

இயற்கை விவசாயிகளிடமிருந்து பெறப்படும் பொருட்களைமக்களுக்கு நேரடியாக கொண்டு சேர்க்கும் செயலை ஒரு கடமையாக எங்கள் புகழி இயற்கை அங்காடி செயல்பட்டுவருகிறது.

எங்கள் புகழி இயற்கை அங்காடியின் வழியாக மரபுவழி அரிசிகள், சிறுதானியங்கள், மரச்செக்கு எண்ணெய்கள், பால், பசுநெய், முட்டை, கருங்கோழி முட்டை, திணை, திண்பண்டங்கள், உலர் பழங்கள், மூலிகைப் பொருட்கள் போன்ற பொருள்களை விற்பனை செய்து வருகிறோம்.

எங்களுக்கான வாடிக்கையாளர்கள் உலகம் அளவில் எடுத்துக் கொண்டால் அமெரிக்கா, லண்டன், ஆஸ்திரேலியா, கனடா, ஜப்பான், இலங்கை, சிங்கப்பூர், மலேசியா போன்ற பகுதிகளில் இருக்கிறார்கள். மேலும், தமிழகம் முழுவதிலும் இருந்து எங்களிடம் இயற்கை உணவுப் பொருள்களை அஞ்சல் மூலமாக பெற்று பயன்படுத்துகிறார்கள்.

எங்களுடைய தரத்தில் எந்த நோக்கத்திற்காகவும் நாங்கள் சமரசம் செய்து கொண்டதே கிடையாது. கலப்பட மற்ற உணவுப் பொருள் அனைவரையும் சென்று சேர வேண்டும் என்பதே எங்களுடைய அடிப்படைநோக்கம் ஆகும்.
